A trip to Haulover Marina, steps from Bal Harbour

This past weekend I paid a visit to Haulover Marina and it always feels like uncovering one of Miami’s hidden gems. Last weekend’s trip was no exception—the marina’s relaxed vibe is perfect for anyone looking to escape the usual bustle. Just minutes from our home in Bal Harbour, it’s the launchpad for fishing charters, and boat rentals. I enjoy watching the fishing charters, including Kelley Fishing Fleet, Old Hat Fishing Charters, Therapy-IV return with their catches.

Beyond the fish market scene, there’s plenty to see and do. Haulover Park’s white sand beaches are just steps away, and the area buzzes with activity—jet ski rentals, kite-flying, a top-notch skate park, and even food truck events on a Tuesday evening.
